Two sides, one platform
Licid was founded by two people with different backgrounds but the same vision. One of them is a landlord and knows how overwhelming it can be when an advertisement triggers hundreds of responses. Everyone deserves a fair answer, but keeping that fair becomes difficult as the scale grows. The other searched for a home as a student and knew the other side: endlessly applying, writing motivation letters and just hoping you stand out somewhere.
Together they saw one thing very clearly: there is no platform that handles this transparently. So they decided to build it themselves.
